P2P Mailing have launched a new feature available to all customers that allows you to log in to your account and view your parcel statuses.
One key benefit of this facility is being able to see which shipments we will not be able to process due to errors in the data. The most common errors are invalid HS Codes, missing State codes and missing values. It also gives you the ability to fix these errors by updating the parcel directly with the correct information.
Here is a step by step guide to logging in to your account, checking for errors and updating the parcel in question.
- Visit trakpak.co.uk and login
Your login details are the same in this system as they are for any other system you use for TRAKPAK. If you are unsure, please contact your account manager in the first instance.
- Click ‘Parcels’ in the left hand menu
Here you will see a list of your parcels and their current status. There are links at the end of the row for each parcel for accessing the TRAKPAK tracking website and also the final mile carrier tracking site.
There are many options at the top to be able to filter the parcels by. Here we are filtering to see parcels created on 4th September 2016 in error status:
- Click the pencil icon on the right hand side to edit the parcel
Here you will see the error for this shipment is ‘Invalid Value’. This means that the Value for this parcel in not correct. You can see the value has not been entered.
In the status at the top of the page you will get a variety of error messages depending on what is wrong with the data. These could be, but not limited to, Address Error, Missing Values, Item Information missing or incorrect.
Amending the value to the correct one and selecting ‘Submit’ will update the parcel and send it back through validation to make sure it can be processed when the parcel arrives at our hub facility.
The ability for you to be able to update your data before the parcels arrive at our hub facility means that the parcel won’t be put on hold whilst our Client Services department contact you to get the updated information. It also means that there will be no delay in processing your parcels when they arrive.
For further information on this system and how to use it, please contact your account manager in the first instance.
